Dogs In Ocean Village

Dear Editor,

There is a serious problem in Ocean Village that management is doing nothing about. This dangerous situation is bound to get someone seriously hurt or hospitalized. I am talking about the increasing number of pit bulls with collars and some running freely without collars.

One night while I was returning home from work, two pit bulls were freely trotting around. They ran near me and snapped their teeth.

I was lucky he didn’t bite me. We demand O.V. management get rid of the dogs before there is another incident like the two-year-old that was mauled, especially since our lease states no animals.

We have also called 311 for help. The weather is changing, more people are outside. We don’t want people getting hurt by these dogs.
