Rockaway Memorial Day Parade Draws Large Crowds

The Rockaway Memorial Day Parade, honoring World War II veterans, stepped off from Beach 129 Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard under perfect skies at 11:30 a.m. on Monday morning. An unusually large crowd jammed the west end sidewalks to watch the annual parade, which included more than 100 little leaguers and their parents.
