The staff of St. John’s Episcopal Hospital gathered at the start of the third annual flower planting held by the Hospital. They were joined by Chief Executive Officer John Gupta and the Second Vice President of the Board of Managers of Episcopal Health Services Margaret Carpenter. At St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, staff started gardens lining the perimeter of the campus on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. This was the third year that various Hospital departments have adopted flower gardens.

The beautiful pansies, marigolds, hydrangeas, geraniums, and other colorful flowers were donated by DeSetta Nursery of Woodmere, Long Island.

At summer’s end, the gardens are judged and commendations go to the first, second and third place winners.
