Linara Denise Glover-Mullen

Linara Denise Glover-Mullen, 43, a longtime Rockaway resident, died May 2.

Glover-Mullen was born July 24, 1966 in Queens, New York. She worked as a dietary aide who also obtained her CDL license. She was a member of St. John’s Baptist Church, Far Rockaway, serving as president of the junior usher board and youth choir.

Glover-Mullen was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Eugene Mullen, Jr.

She is survived by her parents, Willie and Maria Bernice Glover of Laurelton, New York; daughters, Lakedia, Alexys Mullen and Lavaughna Glover all of Laurelton New York; sister, Wendy Williams (David) of Laurelton New York; nephew, Jordan Williams; niece, Autumn Williams; grandmother, Elouise Glover and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and friends and one special friend, Glenn Thomas.

Funeral arrangements and memorial service were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney Friendship Chapel, Inwood, New York. Interment took place at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, St. Matthews, South Carolina.
