BCAC Announces Hall Of Fame Dinner
The BCAC will resurrect one of its greatest traditions this Memorial Day weekend with the Broad Channel Athletic Club Hall of Fame Dinner.
The dinner will take place on Saturday, May 29, at the North Channel Yacht Club in Broad Channel at 7 p.m.
The Hall of Fame honor goes to members and players, who for many years excelled on many levels within the Athletic Club. The Hall of Fame inductees for 2010 are: Larry McElroy, Richie Knott Jr., Joe Herbert, Jimmy Trudden, Danny Conklin, Mike Trudden, Kenny Lehr, Dawn McIntyre, John Kelly, and Mike Henglein.
In keeping with a 40-year tradition, a roast beef dinner will be served, as well as an open bar, which will include beer, wine, and soda. The inductees are all well deserving of this honor and expectations are high for a full house, so the BCAC asks that those interested please get their tickets early.
Tickets can be purchased by contacting Jack Allen at 646-267- 5423 or Mike Kelly at 917-628- 0413. A
spokesperson says, “Please join us in a night of great memories on and off the field.”
This year’s dinner will also be the official start of Mardi Gras, which will be hosted by the BCAC this summer.
