Kearney Students Support The Wounded Warriors

During the spring, Bishop Kearney High School faculty and students showed their appreciation for the sacrifices that the Wounded Warriors at Walter Reed Hospital have made. Lynda Thomson, Operations Department of the Fire Department New York, told them that she was taking a group to Washington and needed pajamas for the men and women in the hospital. The Kearney community purchased over 200 pairs in assorted sizes, for the men and women who have been wounded in the service of their country. After most of the boxes were packed, some of the girls posed for a picture.
