BBPA Hosts Beach 26 Street Cleanup

Sixteen people participated in the Beach 26 Street cleanup on Saturday, April 24, sponsored by the Beachside Bungalow Preservation Association with a grant from Citizens Committee for New York City. Pizza from Plaza Fried Chicken, beverages and certificates of appreciation were served afterward. The next two cleanups will be on Beach 25 Street on Saturday, May 8, and Beach 24 Street on Saturday, June 12, 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Participants on Saturday included Mary Hurson; Josaeine Richards and her three children Justin Murray, Cathenia Murray, Channya Murray; Jeanne DuPont; Susan Anderson; Sharon King Hoge; Marni Rhyne and Patricia Allen from Beach 102 Street; Jill Weber, Roy Telason, Michelle Rouse and J.
