Pittelli Named 101 Pct. Officer Of The Month

According to Hanrahan, on March 5 at approximately 3 p.m. Pittelli was returning to the Mott Avenue precinct from an assignment in Manhattan when he responded to a radio call of a robbery. “He did a canvas of the area, identified the perpetrators and placed them under arrest. They were all juveniles – 13, 14, 15 years old. “Officer Pittelli made a great arrest in that,” said Hanrahan. As The Wave reported earlier this month, teens have been responsible for recent robbery patterns in the 101 Precinct that have contributed to an increase in crime statistics.
