A Redfern woman was busted on Monday evening for assaulting another woman with an umbrella and pushing her through a store window, police say.

According to court documents supplied by Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, Redfern Houses resident Kim Davis, 44, and Candy Griffin had an altercation at about 5 p.m. in front of 10-25 Beach 20 Street.

Court records say that Davis, assisted by her unidentified 16-year-old son, assaulted Griffin with an umbrella, striking her multiple times in the head and the hand, as well as pulling her hair and pushing her into a plate glass store window.

Griffin was transported to the Peninsula Hospital Center, where she was reportedly treated for minor injuries and released. Davis was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on Wednesday, charged with assault and harassment.
