Local Busted For Child Endangerment

Left Two Kids Alone In Running Automobile

Christopher Whynter, 38 of Far Rockaway was busted on March 8 when Police Officer Michael Cpspito of the 101 Precinct spotted two kids sleeping inside a running automobile at the intersection of Beach 20 Street and Plainview Avenue. When the cops approached the Ford Winstar, they found Jordan Whynter, 3 and Jarend Whynter, 11, asleep in the car. The car’s doors were locked, its windows closed tight, and the keys were in the ignition, court documents say. Cops say that minutes later, the elder Whynter showed up and told them he had been shopping in a nearby shopping center. Pictured, cops arrest Whynter.
