St. Pat’s Parade Draws Record Crowds


The fire horns blared, the drums rolled and the pipes the tune did play as the dozens of marching groups in the annual St. Patrick‘s Day Parade moved eastward on Saturday, observed by a record crowd of parade-goers who enjoyed both the parade and the 50 degree temperature. I'm new to "the Rock", but

I'm new to "the Rock", but caught the parade midway through their march. What a nice surprise. A little while afterward, one of the marching pipe bands gathered on the boardwalk and spontaneously broke into a performance of Amazing Grace. I was fortunate enough to be right there. Magical…simply magical.
