Some Worked, Some Played

February became the snowiest month on record after a record snowstorm, which created blizzard-like conditions, hit New York City last week. Friday afternoon, as the storm wound down, The Wave found these young people who built a snowman in the Parks Department parking lot at O’Donohue Park on Beach 17 Street. While some played, others had jobs to do like this man from Ocean Park Apartments who was found shoveling snow on the corner of Beach 19 Street.
