Jason Marcerine Webb-Frazier
Jason Marcerine Webb-Frazier, 22, a longtime Rockaway resident, died February 23.
Webb-Frazier was born on February 1, 1987 and worked as a sales associate at Target. He attended Far Rockaway High School, where he was an advanced Regents candidate and the winner of the “Just Say No” to violence campaign with his “What goes around, comes around” essay and artistry on gun violence.
He is survived by his parents, Douglas Marcerine Frazier and Debra Jean Webb-Frazier; brother, Jeremy Allen; sisters, Jasmine Aileen and Jessica Michelle; grandparents, Gloria Webb, Yusef Yasin and Elsie Yasin; aunts and uncles, Terrell and Pat Coleman, Carol Webb, Mark and Cathy Hooks, Harvey and Karen Webb, Chris and Charmaine Webb, Danny Webb, Joe and Deshaun Yasin, Amar and Lisa Yasin; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and devoted friends.
Funeral arrangements and memorial service were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney Friendship Chapel, Inwood, New York. Disposition took place at St. Michael’s Crematory, East Elmhurst, New York.
