Aviators Finish Season Strong In Wins Over C-Dogs, FDNY

The New York Aviators ended their inaugural hockey campaign by finishing undefeated for the season with two victories last weekend.

On February 19, the Aviators thumped the Connecticut C-Dogs, 14- 14, in a charity game which benefited the Woun-ded Warriors organization. During the intermissions, raffles and a silent auction of items were auctioned off the benefit the charity.

The Aviators ended the season undefeated at 25-0 on Sat-urday night with a 7-3 victory over the FDNY Bravest hockey team. They had previously beaten the Rhode Island Storm on January 10 to capture the North East Profession-al Hockey League championship. “I am very proud of my guys and the organization,” says head coach Rob Miller about the team finishing the season unbeaten.
