Town Hall Meeting Without Politics

Dear Editor,

Tuesday, February 16, Congressman Weiner held a meeting at P.S. 114. It started at 6:30 p.m. He entered at 6:50 p.m. For the next 1 hour and 40 minutes he talked about beach erosion. That is important to us beach sand? A total of 15 minutes was devoted to politics. All I could think of was “Slick Willie.” Anthony must be his top student. I have read that to some Anthony is known as “Whiner.”

Last night he was the “Dodger.” He avoided today’s politics and our concerns as to where this administration and this congress are leading us. Senator Bayh nailed it. This administration and this congress are not only incompetent but they could care less what we their constituents want of them. Anthony came across to “me” as we are the fools and he is smarter then we are. To me, personally, it is sad. I first met Anthony in the 80’s when he worked for Sen. Schumer and I worked for the N.Y.P.D. Since then “I” believe he has forgotten that he was a Democrat. Now he is an arrogant, pompous Ultra-Liberal. My advice to all our politicians is, “You can fool some of the people some time but not all of the people all of the time.”

My fellow neighbor, Senator Bayh, a real Democrat is right. It is time to vote all of them out of congress.

CHARLES MEIER, SR.
