Paula Rosa Clark
Paula Rosa Clark, 51, a longtime Rockaway resident, died December 30.
Clark was born on July 7, 1958 in East Meadow, New York and worked as a dietary aide. She attended the Universal Tabernacle of Love, Peace, and Joy Church, located in Hempstead, New York, under the ministry of Pastor Essie Dunbar.
Clark was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine.
She is survived by her sons, Terrance Lynwood Clark of Massapequa, New York and Travis Clark of Decatur, Georgia; brothers, Francis Ford (Darlene) of Tempe, Arizona, Darryl Stevens of Far Rockaway, Stephan Stevens of Decatur, Georgia, Neil Jenkins (Tonya) of Brentwood, New York, Barry Jenkins (JoLeen) of Freeport, New York and Ryan Patterson of Summerville, South Carolina; sister, Nicole Patterson of Phoenix, Arizona; aunts, Judith Jenkins of Warner Robbins, Georgia, Adrienne Laing of New Jersey, Yvonne Crum- Robertson of Freeport, New York; uncles, Ernest Jenkins (Dorothy) of Roosevelt, New York, Richard Laing (Shirley) of Irvington, New Jersey and Bernard Laing of Brooklyn, New York; cousin, Natalie Roberts of Westbury, New York; companion, Jesse Vailes; friends, Barbara Allen, Paul, Tracey and Terri, and a host of other relatives.
Funeral arrangements and memorial service were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney Friendship Chapel, Inwood, New York. Disposition took place at St. Michael’s Crematory, East Elmhurst, New York.
