Administrator
Rita Mary McNamara, a lifelong Rockaway resident, died January 30. McNamara was born in Rockaway Beach and worked as an administrator. McNamara was preceded in death by her husband, Francis McNamara. She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Hergen (George) and grandson, James Hergen. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Rockaway Beach. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. followed by a funeral mass on Friday, February 12, at 9:45 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church, Belle Harbor. Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York. |
