Alice Mullaly (nee Talbot), a 49-year Rockaway resident, died February 2. Mullaly was born in Brooklyn, New York and worked as a secretary. Mullaly was preceded in death by her husband, William and brother, Richard Talbot. She is survived by her children, Susan Fisher (Jim), Denise Byrnes (Jim), Michael (Rosanne) and Maureen Gormley (Kevin); grandchildren Ryan, Conor, Mairead, Laurel, Owen, Rhiannon, Niamh, Caoimhe and Ruairi; sister, Betty Jones; brother, Jim Talbot and many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Rockaway Beach. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. followed by a funeral mass on Saturday, February 6, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, Breezy Point. Interment will take place at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, New York. |
