Flight 587

Dear Editor,

Even though you did not publish a notice of my new book as you had for other “local authors,” I have some info for you.

The day of the tragedy, a piece of the plane landed in my yard on Beach 123 Street. The significance is that it was a honecomb fiberglass piece (probably from trim in the cabin). I am sure it was not from the tail. The tail would all be structural. This was a trim piece. How could it be loose so far from impact? The next day cops came around, and like a good citizen, I gave it to them. What a jerk!
