New Procedure Set For Muni-Meter Lot

The renovated Muni-meter parking lot on Beach 116 Street has reopened with a slightly different procedure for paying and displaying your paid receipt. In the past, a computer in the lot’s machine recorded which spots were paid for and which were not. Motorists did not have to walk back to their cars and put the receipt in their car window, as they do on the shopping street itself. Now, however, parkers must display the parking receipt in their front driver’s side window, as indicated on the new signage. At bottomt: New Muni-meter machines are dotted around the parking lot so that drivers do not have to walk far to pay their fee and return to their automobile with the receipt.
