Artists In Residence’ Continues At West End Temple
On January 23 and 24, Mari Meade Dance Collective presented the premiere of Community: Ratio at the Clark Theater in Lincoln Center to an enthusiastic full house. The dancers were intense – they told a unique story through their outstanding movements. The energy and passion that was displayed through movement was said to be remarkable.
Choreographer and director of Mari Meade Dance Collective, Mari Meade collaborated with her colleague Gregory Miles Hoffman (composer) to create an original music score and dance made possible through the Kenan Fellowship. Hoffman and Meade are William R. Kenan, Jr. Performing Arts Fellows at Lincoln Center Institute for the Arts in Education.
