Annie Zellner, 83, a longtime Rockaway resident, died January 2.
Zellner was born in Columbus, Georgia on October 13, 1916. She was a Union Worker for Salvastein Bread Company for 34 years.
Zellner was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Flowers.
She is survived by her husband, William Zellner; daughter, Shirley Kubby; stepdaughter, Viola Z. Slappy; grandsons, Anthony Foy and Kevin Kubby; granddaughters, Sharon Williams and Keisha Kubby; sisters, Willie Mae Lamb, Mattie Bradley, Carrie Moore and Mary Clark; brother, Harold Whatley and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will truly miss her.
Funeral arrangements and memorial service were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney Friendship Chapel, Inwood, New York. Disposition took place at St. Michael’s Crematory, East Elmhurst, New York.
