Subfreezing Temps Burst House Pipe

The subfreezing temperatures last Sunday caused a pipe to burst inside a home located at 69-63 Almeda Avenue at around 11:00 a.m. The water, pouring out of the house like a fountain, quickly froze and turned the house into an igloo. The water can be seen frozen outside the windows and frame of the house. The owner was not home at the time of the incident.
