Arrest Made in October Stabbing
A Brooklyn man has been arrested in connection with an October stabbing that resulted from an altercation on Beach 15 Street near Heyson Road, according to police. Wilson Rodriguez, 41, of 670 6th Avenue in Brooklyn, was arrested on December 16 and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to court records supplied by Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
Rodriguez is believed to have gotten into an argument with the victim for unknown reasons, on October 24 at approximately 5:00 a.m. As the two men began fighting, Rodriguez allegedly pulled a sharp metal object and plunged it into the other man’s stomach, causing him to be rushed to the hospital where he received five stitches. The suspect fled that night from police and it is unknown if the two men were familiar with one another. Rodriguez is due back in court on January 12.
