Santa Claus was greeted with hugs from the excited children. Santa Claus was greeted with hugs from the excited children. Games, prizes, hot dogs, popcorn and the big guy himself, Santa Claus, took center stage last week as the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau and the 101 Precinct hosted approximately 500 children from the Far Rockaway community for a holiday party. The highlight was the entrance of Santa to the music of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."

The PAL and Fidelis Care joined the NYPD in sponsoring the December 11 event, which took place at the Ocean Bay Community Center on Beach 57 Street.
