Joseph S. Ferrandino, a longtime Rockaway resident, died December 6.

Ferrandino was born in Brooklyn, New York and served in the US Navy in WWII.

Ferrandino is preceded in death by his wife Mary.

He is survived by children, Joseph Ferrandino, Diane Camarda, Paul and Gregory Ferrandino; brother, Humbert Ferrandino; sisters, Rose Ferrandino, Gabrella Ticalia, and Elizabeth Mastalone; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home, Rockaway Beach. A funeral mass was held at St. Genevieve Church, Roxbury. Interment took place at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York.
