Zadie Lee Watts
Zadie Lee Watts, a longtime Rock - away resident, died November 17.
Watts was born August 4, 1946, in Orrville, Alabama and moved to Far Rockaway in 1967. She was a member of St. John's Baptist Church in Far Rockaway. She worked for 25 years at St. John's Hospital. She en - joyed garden ing, playing bingo, watching wrest ling, and cooking.
Watts is preceded in death by one grandchild, Ciara Henry; and two brothers, Richard and Jesse.
She is survived by her three children, Eugene Perry, Lisa Thomas, and Wayne Perry of New York; nine grandchildren, Yolanda Perry, Monique Morris, Sabla' Stays, Willie "Joey" Thomas, Tashianna Thomas, Antonio Boddy, Aaron Boddy, Lexus Henry, and Angel Yarbrough; two brothers, Jerry (Roberta) Perry Jr. and Clarence (Rhonada) Perry; four sisters, Wilma Perry, Betty Craig, Florida "Mae" (Eddie) Zanders, and Brenetta Perry; two brothers-in-law, Robert Craig Sr. and Willie Craig Sr.; and sister-in-law, Kim Perry; two uncles, Clarence Hunter and YZ Hunter of Alabama; godson, Derrick Holcombe; caregiver, Paulette; and a host of nieces, neph ews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral arrangements and memorial service were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney Friendship Chapel, In wood, New York. Inter - ment took place at Rockville Ceme - tery, Lynbrook, New York.
