Two Locals Busted In Connecticut Scam
      Two Rockaway men were arraigned on November 23 in a Milford, Connecticut court on charges of purchasing electronic goods with counterfeit credit cards. According to court sources, Leroy Sterling, 21, of Aztec Place and Gary Cozart, both of Far Rockaway, remain in custody after a brief hearing in Milford Superior Court.

      Four of the convicted sex offenders listed in last week's Wave issue are living together in a single home in Arverne. It is still unknown if the house located at 540 Beach 72 Street is a halfway house for convicted sex offenders and whether it is owned and operated by a not-for-profit group, as is typical of some halfway houses in the area.
