Your commentary column, The Rockaway Beat, in the November 6th edition is not only one-sided, it is misguided and certainly contains inaccuracies. I will leave others to deal with those. More ... Dear Editor, The storm remnant this week caused one of the worst beach erosion around Beach 92nd street. We lost over 4 feet in height worth of sand within one day! This can be seen clearly by the "hanging" wooden ramp at Beach 91th Street. More ... Dear Editor, While I'll be the first one to admit Lew Simon has done well for the community, that is not at issue. What is at issue is the fact that he jumped in bed with his Democratic miscreant buddies and was willing to foment lies. Obviously, for Simon, politics trumps the overall good of the community. To Ms. Rosenberg: How dare you compare me with others that you imply have forgotten the victims and families of gun violence on the 'East End. More ... Dear Editor, In recent weeks we have seen signs of economic recovery. At the same time, we heard that the rate of unemployment will remain high for a considerable period of time. Economic prob lems will persist for many Amer - ican families while Wall Street recovers our wealthy continue to call for tax cuts, and congress debates the necessity of health care reform.
