The Belle Harbor Yacht Club, Belle Harbor, Rockaway Beach
      In 1905, the Belle Harbor Yacht Club was built on the bay-front in the section of Rockaway Beach known as Belle Harbor. This section of the Rock away peninsula was opened and lots were put on sale in 1902. This new yacht club was situated between Orienta Avenue and Pelham Avenue (Beach 127 and Beach 126 Streets) and had a dock extending more than 200 feet into the bay.
