Remnants of Ida Dig Out Rockaway Sand

The remnants of Hurricane Ida swept over the Rockaway shore last weekend, badly eroding the beach and flooding a portion of Shore Front Parkway. Pictured, surfers at Beach 90 Street take a break by resting against the eroded beach near the boardwalk. In some places, the beachfront virtually disappeared. The children's playground at Beach 103 street was so badly damaged that plans are to move it to another beach. Hi,
Have you guys checked my old copies from 1963 + or-
minus and your archives.
Please give some credit to us Surfers of the days we went under the boardwalk.
Your photo is so now and boaring not real to real surfers of those days.
Or real Rockaway folks who had the ocean in their back yard on the Boulevard at 94 street.;
Don
