New York Aviators Skate Past Rhode Island

The New York Aviators kicked off their first home game of the inaugural North East Professional Hock ey League season by winning 11-0 over the Rhode Island Storm.

The game took place on November 6 at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn. The A's defeated the Rhode Island Storm, 11-1, in the NEPHL season opener that took place on November 5 in Kingston

The Aviators will return to their home ice tonight in a rematch against Rhode Island starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $8 for kids and $10 for adults. The box office opens at 6 p.m.

Upcoming home games in November for the Avi - ators include a game on November 20, and on Satur - day, November 28 against the Connecticut C-Men.

The NEPHL originally had two more teams in Salem, New Hampshire and Fitchburg Massa chu - setts. The league suspended the franchises in Sep - tember because the owner of the teams suffered a heart attack prior to the start of the season.

The Connecticut C-Men, a team located in East Haven, was added to the league just weeks before the regular season began.
