Doo Wop Concert Fundraiser to be Held in January

Harry G.'s 17th annual Doo Wop concert to raise funds for the Susan G. Memorial Scholarship will take place at Beach Channel High School, Rock - away Park, on January 30.

The show will feature 17 acts and begins at 7:00 p.m. The line-up incl - udes, Cleveland Still and the Dubs; Norman Fox and the Rob-Roys; Vito and the Salutations; Quotations; Fire - flies; Devotions; Manhattan Sky line featuring the lead vocals of Jimmy Russo; the Super Girls Group featuring original members of the Exciters, Cookies, Jaynetts, Rain drops, and Del Rons; Joey and the Paradons; Lou Rotondo (formerly of the Passions); New York's Cascades; Tony Ferari's Chaperones (Tribute); Wrenditions; Four Pops; Twin Gold; Ideals; and Clarions.

The concert, the longest running annual doo wop fundraising concert in the area, will be hosted by Harry G., retired Beach Channel High School Communication Arts teacher.
