Domestic Violin Beating
A Far Rockaway man was arrested this week when he allegedly beat his girlfriend with a violin following an argument over her mother, according to police.
Gabriel Guerrero, 22, of 13-45 Eggert Place, allegedly attacked his girlfriend Sunday night with the violin and bow. The argument led to Guerrero hitting his girlfriend over the head with a violin and slapping her on the arms with the bow, police said. The victim escaped with only minor cuts and bruises to her head and arms.
Guerrero has been charged with third degree assault, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon and harassment, according to Queens District Attorney Richard Brown's office.
