Several units of local firefighters were called to the Boardwalk at Beach 95 Street at about 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning to fight a fire inside the lifeguard shack owned by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. It took the firefighters a few minutes to knock down the fire, which destroyed the trailer structure.
