St. Camillus/St. Virgilius Basketball Registration

The final registration for the St. Camillus/St. Virgilius community basketball programs will take place in the St. Camillus rectory basement on Tuesday, October 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. All games are played at St. Camillus.

The Mini Program (kindergarten to the second grade) is full. All the other programs still have openings. The Boys' Program (third to the eighth grade) will play on Wednesday nights. The Girls' Program (third to the eighth grade) will play on Thursday nights. All players signing up for the senior basketball programs (sixth to the eighth grade) must bring a birth certificate to registration.

The programs run from November to mid February. The registration fee will be $65 for the first child and $10 for each additional child.

Volunteers are needed to supervise ALL of the basketball programs. All previous directors have resigned their positions.

Basketball experience is not necessary to be a director of a program. You simply need to supervise the activities in the gym, not the activities on the court.

A program cannot be run without a director to supervise the gym. Therefore, any program without a new volunteer director will have to be canceled. As always, volunteer coaches are also needed to help make the program a success. If you are interested in volunteering as a coach or as a director, please come to registration and let us know. These are great programs for the children and young adults in our community.

Please help us keep them going.
