Cops Seek Double Shooting Suspect

Police have named a suspect in the double shooting outside 1310 Augustina Avenue on September 14 that has claimed the life of one of the victims and hospitalized another, according to police.

Ronald Washington, 28, and an unidentified male, 43, were standing within a crowd outside Washington's home near Nameoke Street around 8 p.m. when, police say, the gunman, dressed in black, pulled out an assault rifle and fired 29 times, striking Washington six times.

They were rushed to Jamaica Hospital where Washington died several days later. The unidentified male who was struck is expected to live, according to police. Authorities believe the gunman to be Paul Williams a.k.a Essay or Manny and are seeking the public's help in locating him. He is described as a male, black, 32 years old, 5'9'' tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds with short black hair.
