Aviators Announce One Day Hockey Tryout

The New York Aviators, the newest professional minor league hockey franchise, has announced a one-dayonly open tryout at the Aviator Sports and Events Center on Sunday, October 11.

The Aviators will take part in the North East Professional Hockey League, which begins its regular season on November 5 and concludes on March 21 with two playoff rounds to foll ow. The New England Pharaohs, Rhode Island Storm and the Twin City Yeti will be the other teams competing in the league.

Rob Miller, head coach of the New York Aviators, says that players selected from this tryout will have an opportunity to be invited to the Aviators Main Tryout Camp.

Players interested in attending must call or email Rob Miller at either 718-758-7585 or rob@aviatorsports. com. You must provide your name, age, po si tion and the last team played for.

Coach Miller must provide an ap - proval before you can come to camp. The fee is $50 per player. The oneday tryout is limited to 40 players and 8 goalies. Check-in and registration is from 11 a.m. - noon on October 11. Take your best shot!
