Most Store Owners Hate Us

Dear Editor,

I would like to comment on a few letters sent in last week. To the voice who complained about rude service at a store on Beach 54 Street: You have to realize this, and most of the store owners like the one you encountered hate us in general. No matter what our race, religion, or politics, I would not go back to the store to spend another dime.

To the scum who left a pit bull near death outside the animal hospital on Beach 114 Street: You should burn in hell. And to the reader who lost her dog after 15 years: I read your story with tears in my eyes.

I had a pit bull that took care of me for nine years.

She blessed my life in ways too numerous to count. She was a beautiful pit bull named pretty girl and not a day goes by where I don't miss her or her sister Coco the Chihuahua. I will say a prayer to St. Vincent in your name.
