Zero consumer affairs complaints, zero D.M.V. complaints and zero Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, which in turn has given us the BBB highest A+ rating. We have certainly earned the trust of our 4,300 customers."
The story begins in 1949, when longtime Rockaway residents and WW II veterans Jack Jaffe and Louis Cappell built Channel Drive Service Station, located at 59-14 Beach Channel Drive.
They passed the business to the next generation in 1985.
"We have continued a tradition of excellence established by our founders. We are always conscious of our customers' needs and budget," says Brad Goodman, coowner who joined the company 33 years ago. "I have made it my priority to stay in touch with the latest diagnostic techniques and emission and drivability repairs. My partner, Jimmy Cappell, mans the telephones and is ready to answer your questions or quote you a price."
Express 20-minute oil change with high quality oil and FRAM oil filters is available Monday to Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., report the owners. Their customers, they say, really enjoy the Full Service Car Wash that comes with every shop service.
"Pick-up and drop-off service is never a problem. If you work at Peninsula Hospital or any other health care facility, show us you're ID and you'll save 10 percent in our shop."
