The Rockaway Beachside Neighborhood Association (RBNA) kicked off its annual block cleanup on Beach 25, 26, 27, and 28 Streets and Seagirt Avenue, with dozens of residents volunteering. The cleanup was part of the Association's efforts to help beautify the Rockaway Beach area.

"It is great to see so many volunteers coming out to help and taking pride in their neighborhood by cleaning it up," said Les Paultre, president of the Block Association. After the cleanup, refreshments were served and music was played. The cleanup was sponsored by Nicole Paultre Bell's organization "When It's Real It's Forever," Inc.
