Ken Brimlow, 83, a former Rockaway resident, died August 8.
Brimlow was born in Queens on June 11, 1926 and worked as a body repair specialist, vocational teacher and auto dealer. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran, stationed in Norma, Oklahoma during World War II. He moved to California in 1957, and with his brother, Bob, built a business called Freeway Auto Wrecking in Santa Ana, California. Brimlow was a devoted Evangelist.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marion; children, Ruth Frendle, Lois Boyd, Daniel Brimlow, Paul Brimlow, Grace Ruga and Esther Perkins; 19 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral arrangements and memorial service were entrusted to Zion Christian Center, Orange, California. Interment will take place at Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana, California.
