Summer League Baseball At Fort Tilden

The Rockaway Little League Renegades Pee Wee team has jumped out to an impressive 6 and 2 record after splitting a home and away two game series with the powerful Amity squad. All the players on the tough Renegades team have contributed in one way, shape or form. Strong pitching by Timmy "Bulldog" Connolly, Joey "Nails" Braskey and Brian "B-Mac" MacDonald has kept opponents' knees buckling all season long.

Powerful hitting by Chris "The Kid" Koenig, James Byrne, John "Double J" Moran, Terence Moriarty and Kevin Connelly has provided the run support. Stellar defense by the likes of Robbie "Scrappy" Rose, Brendan "B" Vazquez, Bryan Bostwick and Liam Malsy is also a major reason for the .750 winning percentage.

Kudos also go to the crack coaching staff. Come check out the Renegades at Fort Tilden. The next game is on Monday, August 17 as the Renegades take on Bergen Beach at 5:45 p.m.
