Rain-Soaked Runners Rebound In Graybeards Family Run

About 250 men, women and children showed up at St. Francis de Sales Church in Rockaway Park on a stormy Friday night, hoping that officials of the annual Graybeards Family Run would be able to get in at least a few of the scheduled runs. They were not disappointed as all of the kids and adult runs were held in between periods of heavy rain that plagued the peninsula.
