Rip Current Takes Life Of Bronx Teen

A 19-year-old Bronx man, who was reportedly swimming with his girlfriend on an unprotected beach at Beach 27 Street, lost his life on Saturday when the pair was pulled out to sea by a raging rip current. A Brooklyn man, who onlookers say suffered a heart attack fighting the surf to get back to shore, was declared dead at a Breezy Point beach on Monday afternoon.
