Rabbi Moshe Chait
Rabbi Moshe Chait, 87, the dean of Yeshiva Chafetz B'Av eve in Jerusalem and one-time spiritual leader of the Young Israel of Far Rockaway and Bayswater, died on July 29 at Mt. Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem.
Chait moved from Rockaway to Israel in 1970. He was considered an expert on Torah ethics, and taught for a time at Yeshiva University in Manhattan.
Chait is survived by his wife, Esther and five children, including Rabbis Baruch, David and Reuven Chait.
Chait was interred in Sanhedria/ Ramat Eshkol, Israel.
