A stealthy burglar snuck through a broken window at St. Camillus Church on Rockaway Beach Boulevard early on July 5, ransacking the church school and stealing a number of electrical items, police say.

Sometime between 6:30 and 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, one, or perhaps two burglars entered the building on Beach 101 Street by breaking a window in the mail room and entering through the broken window.

The office was ransacked, police say, and a computer monitor and inkjet printer were missing.

Many other less valuable items, including a rosary, were left on the ground outside the building.

The unknown perpetrator( s) then left the building through the school principal's office.

The break-in was discovered by a church employee when he arrived for work that day.

Detectives from the 100 Precinct in Rockaway Beach are investigating. Anybody with information on those who burgled the building should call 718- 318-4226.
