Public School 114 'At The Hop'
The show "At The Hop" was presented by PS 114's second grade classes on Tuesday, July 23. It was a competition between two groups of kids: one of the past doing old rock and roll tunes and one of the present performing the music of today. Among the songs sung were "At the Hop," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Back to the Future," and "Rock and Roll Is Here To Stay." The kids were great, energetic and obviously enjoyed doing the show. The musical director was Mrs. Levy, who is also one of RMAC's Music Memory teachers, and the dance director was Mrs. Zwirn.
