Bklyn Man Arrested After Threat
A Brooklyn man was arrested when he violated his order of protection by threatening to kill a Far Rockaway woman over the phone, according to police.
Anthony Perez, 35, of 126 Melrose Street, allegedly called the woman at her Seagirt Boulevard home at around 11:30 a.m. on June 8 and said to her, "If you think you are taking my kids out of the borough, the only place you will go is the grave."
He was arraigned on June 15 and charged with second degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, and second degree aggravated harassment. He was released without bail and is due back in court on July 15, according to Queen District Attorney Richard Brown.
