Capitalism at its worst, at its most evil, is stripping American auto workers and American auto dealers of the retirement income and the retirement health protection they have individually earned during 30, 40, and even 50 years of sweat and conscientious production effort on behalf of their companies, their families, and their country.
The German and Canadian and Swedish and Japanese governments are coming to the rescue of THEIR auto-industry personnel, while the American government is not, because Germany and Canada and Sweden and Japan have leaders who genuinely care about the well-being of their non-rich, while America is led by a crypto-rightwinger masquerading as a Democrat.
Barack Obama, and the Bush Boys with whom he surrounded himself, pushed out Rick Wagoner as Chief Executive Officer of General Motors on Sunday, 29 March, 2009 when Wagner defied them and insisted that GM would protect its workers and dealers, would NOT pursue bankruptcy, and would not throw control of its economics into the federal bankruptcy courts packed with Bushappointed megacorporate servants/ enemies of the people—packed with the likes of Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas.
An ongoing hundreds and hundreds of billions for the 19 biggest U.S. banks, enabling them to swallow smaller competitors, but only a measly 17.4 billion to sustain GM and Chrysler as the Great Bush World Depression rages? America's auto workers and dealers are Barack Obama's air traffic controllers (1981, Reagan/Bush). The bashing of lesswell defended other American wage earners and small businessmen is now guaranteed and imminent.
